Eyes on the Unseen
π Eyes on the Unseen π
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." – 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)
In a world full of distractions, disappointments, and daily noise, it’s easy to fix our eyes on what we can see—problems, pain, setbacks, and uncertainties. But God calls us to lift our gaze higher.
What we see may look overwhelming, but what we can’t see is even more powerful—His presence, His promises, His purpose working behind the scenes.
Faith isn’t about ignoring reality; it’s about seeing beyond it. It’s trusting that there’s more than meets the eye—that God is moving, even in silence.
✨ Let This Encourage You Today:
That closed door might be redirecting you.
That delay might be protecting you.
That trial might be strengthening you.
Fix your eyes not on the visible… but on the eternal. God is always at work.
π A Prayer to Focus on the Eternal π
Lord,
Help me to lift my eyes above what I can see and focus on what truly matters—Your truth, Your promises, and Your eternal plan. When I feel overwhelmed by life’s circumstances, remind me that they are only temporary. Fill me with faith to trust in what is unseen. Give me the vision to see with spiritual eyes and the courage to walk by faith, not by sight.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. ✨
**Keep your heart anchored in eternity.
What’s ahead of you is greater than what’s in front of you. π
