He watches, protects, guides, searches, and stays near the flock. In many ways, fatherhood carries a similar calling. God has entrusted people to your care. Your role is not simply to bring home a paycheck but also to provide spiritual direction, emotional support, protection, correction, and encouragement. Peter reminds leaders to serve willingly rather than reluctantly.
