“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…” — Ephesians 2:8
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: 2 Kings 12–13
New Testament: Ephesians 2
π‘ Devotional Thought:
2 Kings 12–13 shows seasons of restoration mixed with incomplete obedience. God’s mercy continues even when people fall short.
Ephesians 2 reminds us that salvation is purely by grace. We were once lost, but now we are made alive in Christ—not by works, but by God’s gift.
A grace-filled church walks in humility and gratitude.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Emphasize grace in teaching.
Men & Ladies: Live with gratitude for salvation.
Youth & Children: Remember salvation is God’s gift.
π€ Reflection:
Do I truly appreciate the grace God has given me?
π Take Away:
Salvation is a gift of grace.
π Prayer:
Father, thank You for saving us by grace. Help us live with thankful hearts and extend that grace to others. Amen.
