Loving Others
๐ŸŒ…Morning Devotionals for Youth

๐Ÿ“– John 13:34 – “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

Devotional:
Loving people is easy when they treat us well—but what about when they hurt us, annoy us, or betray us? Jesus didn’t just say “love those who love you.” He said, “love one another as I have loved you.” That’s sacrificial, unconditional love.

This is how the world will know you’re His disciple—not by your church attendance or how many Bible verses you know, but by your love. Imagine what your school, family, or friendships would look like if you consistently chose love instead of hate, forgiveness instead of revenge, kindness instead of indifference.

It’s not easy, but remember: Jesus loved us while we were still sinners. If He could love us at our worst, then we can love others with His help.

Reflection Questions:

  • Who in your life is hard to love right now?

  • What would it look like to love them the way Jesus loves you?

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to love others the way You love me. Even when it’s difficult, help me choose kindness, patience, and forgiveness. Amen.
