Hope of Eternal Life π§π§π§π§
“In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time.” — Titus 1:2
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: 2 Chronicles 33–36
New Testament: Titus 1
π‘ Devotional Thought:
The final chapters of 2 Chronicles reveal both the consequences of rebellion and the faithfulness of God. Even after exile and judgment, God prepared a way for restoration. His plans were never abandoned.
Titus 1 reminds us that our hope is secure because it rests on God’s promises. Human promises may fail, but God never lies and never changes. Eternal life is not merely a future expectation—it is a present confidence that shapes how we live today.
A hopeful church remains steadfast because its future is secure in Christ.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Encourage the church with the hope of God's promises.
Men & Ladies: Live each day with eternal perspective.
Youth & Children: Remember that Jesus gives everlasting life.
π€ Reflection:
Am I living with confidence in God's eternal promises?
π Take Away:
Our hope is secure because God keeps His promises.
π Prayer:
Father, thank You for the hope of eternal life. Help us live with confidence, joy, and assurance because of Your unchanging promises. Amen.
