Saved by Mercy π§π§π§π§
“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.” — Titus 3:5
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Ezra 4–6
New Testament: Titus 3
π‘ Devotional Thought:
Ezra 4–6 shows opposition against God's work. Despite delays and obstacles, God ensured that the temple was completed according to His plan.
Titus 3 reminds us that salvation comes through God's mercy, not our achievements. We could never earn God's favor, yet He freely offers grace through Jesus Christ. Mercy changes everything.
A grateful church never forgets that it was saved by grace alone.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Teach God's grace faithfully.
Men & Ladies: Live with humility and gratitude.
Youth & Children: Thank Jesus for His mercy.
π€ Reflection:
Do I truly appreciate God's mercy in my life?
π Take Away:
Salvation is a gift of God's mercy.
π Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your mercy that saved us. Help us live humbly and gratefully before You every day. Amen.
