Walking in Love๐ง๐ง๐ง๐ง
๐ Main Verse:
“And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” — Ephesians 5:2
๐ Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
-
Old Testament: Isaiah 52–54
-
New Testament: Galatians 3
๐ก Devotional Thought:
Love is not just a feeling but a lifestyle. Jesus showed love by giving His life for us, and we are called to walk daily in that same love. Love transforms how leaders guide, how families live together, and how youth and children treat one another. Walking in love means choosing forgiveness, patience, and kindness even when it’s hard.
๐ Application:
-
Council & Pastoral: Lead with compassion and gentleness.
-
Men & Ladies: Practice love in words and actions within your homes.
-
Youth & Children: Be kind to classmates, siblings, and friends—even when it’s difficult.
๐ค Reflection:
How can I show Christlike love to someone in my life today?
๐ Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for showing us the greatest love by giving Yourself for us. Teach us to walk in that same love daily. Help our leaders serve with compassion, our families live with forgiveness, and our children and youth grow in kindness. May Your love shine through our church into our community. Amen.”
