Bearing Fruit for God
π§π§π§π§Devotionals for Church Family
π Main Verse:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:5
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
-
Old Testament: Isaiah 64–66
-
New Testament: Ephesians 1
π‘ Devotional Thought:
Our lives are meant to bear fruit that glorifies God—love, joy, peace, and good works. But fruitfulness is only possible when we remain connected to Jesus, the true Vine. Without Him, we can do nothing. Leaders, families, youth, and children all need this daily connection with Christ to live fruitful lives.
π Application:
-
Council & Pastoral: Stay connected to Christ in prayer and Word before leading.
-
Men & Ladies: Abide in Christ daily so your homes bear good fruit.
-
Youth & Children: Grow in Jesus through prayer, worship, and obedience.
π€ Reflection:
Am I staying connected to the Vine daily, or am I trying to bear fruit on my own?
π Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Vine that gives life. Keep our leaders rooted in You, our families anchored in faith, and our youth and children connected in daily obedience. May our church bear fruit that remains, glorifying Your name in all things. Amen.”
