Serving with Humility
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Devotionals for Church Family

📖 Main Verse:
“Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” — Mark 10:45

📚 Bible Reading for Today:

  • Old Testament: Isaiah 53

  • New Testament: Mark 10

💡 Devotional Thought:
In a world where people often seek recognition and position, Jesus showed us a different way: the way of humility and service. He washed His disciples’ feet, healed the broken, and laid down His life. True greatness is not found in how much we are served but in how willing we are to serve others. As Christ’s followers, we are called to reflect His humility in our homes, churches, and communities. Service is not weakness—it is love in action, and through it, others see the heart of Christ in us.

📝 Application:

  • Council & Pastoral: Lead by example, showing humility in leadership.

  • Men & Ladies: Serve your families with patience, love, and sacrificial care.

  • Youth & Children: Offer help in small things—tidying up, assisting, encouraging friends—service matters no matter the size.

🤔 Reflection:
Am I serving with a heart that seeks Christ’s glory, or am I serving for my own recognition?

🙏 Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, You are our greatest example of humility and service. Forgive us when pride and selfishness get in the way of serving others. Teach us to serve with joy, whether in big or small ways. Bless our leaders that they may shepherd with humility, our families that they may serve one another in love, and our young people and children that they may learn early the beauty of serving others. May every act of service point others to Your sacrificial love. Amen.”
