Courage in the Fire🌱
Courage in the Fire🔥
🌱Devotionals for Youth
Verse: “But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods.” — Daniel 3:18
Devotional Thought:
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced the fiery furnace because they refused to bow to idols. Their faith was so strong that they trusted God even if He didn’t rescue them. That’s real courage—choosing faith over fear, even when the outcome is uncertain. In our lives, the “fire” may be peer pressure, temptation, or trials. God may not always remove the fire, but He promises to be with us in it. Like the three young men, may we stand boldly for God no matter the cost.
Reflection Questions:
-
What “fire” are you currently facing in your life?
-
How can you trust God’s presence in hard situations?
Prayer:
Lord, give me courage like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Help me to stand firm in my faith, even when I feel pressured to compromise. Remind me that You are with me in every fire and that I can trust You with the outcome. Strengthen me to choose faith over fear, no matter the cost. Amen.
