God Meant It for Good

🌱Devotional for Youth

Verse: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” — Genesis 50:20

Devotional Thought:
Joseph’s story reminds us that even when people hurt us or situations seem unfair, God can turn them around for good. What looked like betrayal and pain became the very thing God used to save a nation. Sometimes, your struggles are not the end—they are the setup for something beautiful. Don’t lose hope when things don’t go your way. God’s hand is still at work, weaving your pain into His plan for purpose.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Have you ever seen God turn a bad situation into something good?

  2. How can you trust God’s plan when things don’t make sense?

Takeaways:
➡️ God’s purpose always outweighs people’s plans.
➡️ Nothing in your life is wasted in His hands.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for working all things together for good. Help me to see Your hand even when I don’t understand what’s happening. Teach me to trust You through every season, knowing You can turn my pain into purpose. Amen.
