Verse: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” — Psalm 23:1

Devotional Thought:
David compared God to a shepherd who cares for His sheep. Sheep cannot survive without guidance, protection, and provision—and we are just like them. God knows exactly what we need, when we need it. Even when we feel lost or anxious, He gently leads us to green pastures of peace and restores our souls. If you are stressed or uncertain about the future, trust that your Shepherd is watching over you and will not abandon you.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What areas of your life feel like you’re “lacking”?

  2. How can you trust the Shepherd to provide today?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd who guides and protects me. I often wander into worry and fear, but You remind me that in You I lack nothing. Help me to rest in Your care, knowing You will lead me to places of peace, provision, and safety. Amen.
