The Lord Is With You
π§π§π§π§ Devotionals for Church Family
π Main Verse:
“The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered.” — Genesis 39:2
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
-
Old Testament: Jeremiah 46–48
-
New Testament: 1 Thessalonians 4
π‘ Devotional Thought:
God’s presence makes ordinary places extraordinary. Joseph’s life shows us that God can be with us in the pit, in prison, and in positions of influence. Prosperity that follows God’s presence looks different from worldly success — it’s fruitfulness for His purposes, integrity under pressure, and peace in trials. Walk confidently knowing He is with you.
π Application:
-
Council & Pastoral: Seek God’s presence first; everything else follows.
-
Men & Ladies: Value God’s presence more than title or comfort.
-
Youth & Children: Carry the assurance that God is with you wherever you go.
π€ Reflection:
Do I seek God’s presence above all else, or chase after outward success?
π Take Away:
God’s presence is the source of true prosperity and purpose.
π Prayer:
“Lord, make Your presence real in our lives today. In our work, homes, and schools — be with us. Fill our leaders with Your wisdom, bless our families with Your guidance, and help our children know You are always near. Amen.”
