Empowered to Witness π§π§π§π§
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses…” — Acts 1:8
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Deuteronomy 3–4
New Testament: Acts 2
π‘ Devotional Thought:
Moses reminded Israel not to forget what God had done. Remembering builds reverence.
In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came with power at Pentecost. The fearful disciples became bold witnesses. The church was born through prayer, unity, and Spirit-empowerment.
A Spirit-filled church is a witnessing church.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Lead in prayerful dependence on the Spirit.
Men & Ladies: Share your testimony with courage.
Youth & Children: Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
π€ Reflection:
Am I relying on the Holy Spirit daily?
π Take Away:
The Holy Spirit empowers us to be bold witnesses.
π Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill us afresh. Give our church boldness to proclaim Christ with love and power. Amen.
