Strength Through Encouragement π§π§π§π§
π Main Verse:
“They encouraged them to remain true to the faith.” — Acts 14:22
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Joshua 1–2
New Testament: Acts 16
π‘ Devotional Thought:
As Joshua stepped into leadership after Moses, God reminded him to be strong and courageous because the Lord would be with him wherever he went. Leadership and faith require courage rooted in God’s promises.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas faced imprisonment for preaching the gospel. Yet even in chains they prayed and sang hymns to God. Their faith encouraged others and led to the salvation of the jailer and his household.
Encouragement strengthens believers during difficult seasons. A church that uplifts one another grows stronger in faith.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Strengthen believers through teaching and encouragement.
Men & Ladies: Support fellow believers during trials.
Youth & Children: Encourage friends who are struggling.
π€ Reflection:
Who can I encourage today in their faith?
π Take Away:
Encouragement strengthens the body of Christ.
π Prayer:
Lord, help us be encouragers in our church family. Use our words and actions to strengthen others in their walk with You. Amen.
