Scripture: Psalm 27

Of David.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation—
    whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
    of whom shall I be afraid?

Devotional Thought: Darkness may surround you, but God is your light. He gives courage when you feel afraid and confidence when you feel unsure. With Him, you don’t have to fear what’s ahead.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What fear do you need to surrender to God?

  2. How has God been your light before?
