“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” — Isaiah 49:15

💡 Devotional Thought:
God compares His compassion to the tender care of a mother. Even when people feel forgotten, abandoned, or overlooked, God assures them that He remembers them.
Jesus demonstrates this compassion in John 4 when He reaches across social and cultural barriers to speak with the Samaritan woman. He offers her living water and reveals Himself as the Messiah.
The church must be a place where people who feel unseen discover that God sees and loves them.
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Create ministries that care for overlooked and hurting people.
Men & Ladies: Notice those who may be silently struggling.
Youth & Children: Include classmates or friends who may feel left out.
🤔 Reflection:
Who around me needs to experience God's compassion through me?
💭 Take Away:
God never forgets the people others overlook.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You that You never forget us. Give us eyes to see people who are hurting, lonely, or overlooked. Fill our church with compassion and make us willing to reach beyond comfort zones so that others can experience Your love through us. Amen.
