Old Testament: Jeremiah 8–11

New Testament: John 6–7

💡 Devotional Thought:
Jeremiah speaks during a painful period in Israel's history, yet even in the middle of sorrow he remembers God's unfailing compassion. God's faithfulness does not depend on circumstances being easy.

In John 6–7, Jesus declares Himself to be the Bread of Life and invites people to come to Him for true spiritual nourishment. Earthly things satisfy temporarily, but Christ satisfies the deepest hunger of the soul.

Every morning is another reminder that God's mercy has not run out.

📝 Application:

Council & Pastoral: Remind the congregation of God's faithfulness during difficult seasons.

Men & Ladies: Begin each morning by thanking God for His mercy.

Youth & Children: Remember that Jesus is with you even on difficult days.

🤔 Reflection:
What evidence of God's faithfulness can I remember today?

💭 Take Away:
Every new morning is evidence of God's continuing mercy.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, great is Your faithfulness. Thank You that Your compassion never fails and Your mercy is new every morning. When life becomes difficult, help us remember Your goodness rather than focusing only on our circumstances. Keep our church family anchored in Your unfailing love. Amen.
