Write It on Their Hearts ๐ง๐ง๐ง๐ง
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts.” — Jeremiah 31:33
๐ Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Jeremiah 24–27
New Testament: John 14–15
๐ก Devotional Thought:
God promised a new covenant in which His truth would not merely be written on tablets but placed within His people's hearts. God desires inward transformation, not simply outward religious activity.
Jesus tells His disciples in John 14–15 to remain in Him. He promises the Holy Spirit and teaches that fruitfulness comes from abiding in Christ.
The Christian life is not about simply knowing God's commands—it is about allowing His truth to shape our hearts and produce Christlike fruit.
๐ Application:
Council & Pastoral: Focus discipleship on genuine heart transformation.
Men & Ladies: Let God's Word shape your attitudes, decisions, and relationships.
Youth & Children: Ask God to help His truth become part of your everyday choices.
๐ค Reflection:
Is God's Word changing my heart, or am I only learning information?
๐ญ Take Away:
God wants His truth written deeply within us.
๐ Prayer:
Father, write Your truth deeply upon our hearts. Help us not merely hear Your Word but live it. Keep us connected to Jesus so that our lives will produce lasting fruit that reflects His character. Transform us from the inside out. Amen.
