💡 Devotional Thought:
Lamentations was written in the midst of devastating circumstances, yet God's compassion remained the source of hope. Sometimes faith does not deny pain; faith remembers God in the middle of pain.
Acts 12–14 shows the Gospel continuing to spread despite persecution, imprisonment, opposition, and hardship. God's people continued because His mission was greater than their circumstances.
When life becomes difficult, we can hold tightly to God's compassion.
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Care compassionately for members walking through difficult seasons.
Men & Ladies: Be present for people who are hurting rather than offering only words.
Youth & Children: Show kindness to someone who may be struggling silently.

How can I become God's expression of compassion to someone today?

God's compassion gives us hope and teaches us to show compassion to others.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your compassion that never fails. When our hearts are heavy, help us remember Your faithfulness. Make us sensitive to those who are hurting and willing to comfort them. May our church family reflect Your compassionate heart wherever we go. Amen.
