Carrying the Good News
๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿง‘‍๐Ÿง’‍๐Ÿง’ Devotionals for Church Family

๐Ÿ“– Main Verse:
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news.” — Isaiah 52:7

๐Ÿ“š Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day

Old Testament: Isaiah 48–50

New Testament: Luke 20

๐Ÿ’ก Devotional Thought:
Isaiah speaks of the beauty of those who carry God's message of peace and salvation. The messenger's feet are called beautiful because they carry something more valuable than anything the world can offer—the good news of God's salvation.

Jesus continued teaching in Luke 20 despite opposition and challenging questions. He remained faithful to His mission rather than allowing criticism to silence Him.

We may not all preach from a pulpit, but every believer has a message to carry. Our homes, workplaces, schools, friendships, and communities are mission fields.

๐Ÿ“ Application:

Council & Pastoral: Equip members to become faithful messengers of the Gospel.

Men & Ladies: Look for opportunities to speak about God's goodness.

Youth & Children: Share the love of Jesus with your friends.

๐Ÿค” Reflection:
Who needs to hear a word of hope from me today?

๐Ÿ’ญ Take Away:
We carry the good news wherever God sends us.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer:
Lord, make us faithful messengers of Your good news. Give us courage to speak with love and wisdom. Let our words and actions bring hope to those who are discouraged, and may our church continually point people toward Jesus. Amen.
