💡 Devotional Thought:
God reminded His people that He was not finished with them. Even after seasons of failure and difficulty, He was preparing something new. Sometimes we become so focused on what went wrong yesterday that we fail to recognize what God is doing today.
In Luke 19, Jesus encounters Zacchaeus, whose life is completely transformed after meeting Him. Salvation brought a new direction to his life. When Jesus enters a person's heart, He does not simply improve the old life—He begins something new.
Our church family should always remain open to God's new work while remaining faithful to His unchanging truth.
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Be open to new opportunities God provides for ministry.
Men & Ladies: Allow Christ to transform areas of your life that need renewal.
Youth & Children: Remember that Jesus can help you make a fresh start.
🤔 Reflection:
What new thing might God be inviting me to trust Him with?
💭 Take Away:
God can bring new beginnings where we see only old limitations.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You because Your work in our lives is never finished. Help us recognize the new opportunities You place before us. Give us courage to leave behind what must be left behind and faith to walk into what You are preparing. Transform our church family and use us for Your purposes. Amen.
