Casting Every Care π§π§π§π§
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Job 38–39
New Testament: 1 Peter 5
π‘ Devotional Thought:
Job 38–39 marks the moment when God finally speaks. Rather than answering every question directly, the Lord revealed His majesty, wisdom, and sovereign power over creation. Job realized that the God who governs the universe is fully capable of caring for every detail of his life.
Peter invites believers to surrender every burden to the Lord because He genuinely cares for His children. Worry weakens faith, but surrender strengthens trust. God is never overwhelmed by our concerns, and He lovingly carries what we cannot.
A trusting church brings every burden to God instead of carrying it alone.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Encourage members to trust God with every concern.
Men & Ladies: Release your worries through prayer.
Youth & Children: Tell Jesus whenever you are afraid or worried.
π€ Reflection:
What burden do I need to surrender to God today?
π Take Away:
God cares deeply for every concern you carry.
π Prayer:
Father, thank You for caring so deeply for us. Today we surrender every fear, worry, and burden into Your loving hands. Fill our hearts with peace and teach us to trust Your faithful care every day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
