Remaining strong through God's Spirit 👔

Remaining strong through God's Spirit
👔Devotional for Fathers (Breadwinners & Leaders at Home)

Zechariah 4:6
“‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

Reflection

Many fathers believe they must carry every responsibility through their own strength. They work long hours, solve problems, and bear silent burdens, often feeling exhausted. While diligence is honorable, God never intended you to depend solely on yourself.

Zechariah reminds us that God's work is accomplished not by human strength but by His Spirit. As a father, your wisdom, patience, and endurance are strengthened when you rely on the Holy Spirit instead of your own abilities.

Your family doesn't need a father who appears invincible; they need one who demonstrates complete dependence on God. When you surrender your weaknesses to Him, He provides strength that never runs dry.

Reflection Question

Am I relying more on my own strength than on the power of God's Spirit?

💐 Takeaways / Things to Do:

  • Begin your day by asking for the Holy Spirit's guidance.
  • Surrender your burdens to God instead of carrying them alone.
  • Lead your family with humility and dependence on God.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, remind me that I cannot fulfill my calling by my own strength. Fill me with Your Spirit and empower me to lead my family according to Your will. Amen.
