Waiting Quietly Before the Lord ๐ท
Waiting Quietly Before the Lord๐ทWomen’s Devotional
Lamentations 3:25–26 — “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
๐ Reflection:
Our world teaches us that everything should happen quickly. We expect instant answers, immediate results, and fast solutions. Yet God often works differently. He uses seasons of waiting to deepen our faith, refine our character, and draw us into a closer relationship with Him. Waiting is not wasted time—it is sacred time when God is accomplishing work within us that we may not yet understand.
Waiting quietly before the Lord does not mean doing nothing. It means actively trusting while resisting the temptation to become anxious or impatient. It is choosing to believe that God is working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see evidence of His activity. The Lord's silence is never His absence. His delays are never a sign that He has forgotten His children.
As women of faith, we often carry the burdens of our families, ministries, careers, and relationships. It is easy to become restless when prayers remain unanswered. But God gently reminds us that His timing is always perfect. Every promise He has made will come to pass according to His wisdom. Your responsibility is not to force the outcome but to remain faithful while you wait.
Today, allow your heart to rest in God's goodness. The One who has never failed you before will not fail you now. Quiet your anxious thoughts and trust that He is faithfully working for your good.

- How can I cultivate a heart that trusts Him more during seasons of waiting?
๐ Takeaways / Things to Do:

๐ Prayer:
Heavenly Father, teach me to wait quietly and confidently before You. Remove impatience and anxiety from my heart, and replace them with unwavering trust in Your perfect timing. Thank You for always working for my good, even when I cannot yet see the outcome. In Jesus' name, Amen.
