Faithful Stewards of God's Grace π§π§π§π§
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace...” — 1 Peter 4:10
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Job 35–37
New Testament: 1 Peter 4
π‘ Devotional Thought:
As Elihu continued speaking in Job 35–37, he emphasized God's greatness and wisdom. These chapters remind us that God has entrusted each believer with unique gifts and abilities to accomplish His purposes. Everything we have ultimately belongs to Him.
Peter teaches that every Christian has received spiritual gifts to serve others. Whether our gifts are visible or behind the scenes, each one contributes to building up the body of Christ. God does not compare our gifts—He simply calls us to use them faithfully for His glory.
A healthy church flourishes when every member serves faithfully.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Equip members to discover and use their spiritual gifts.
Men & Ladies: Serve joyfully wherever God has placed you.
Youth & Children: Use your talents to bless others and glorify God.
π€ Reflection:
Am I faithfully using the gifts God has entrusted to me?
π Take Away:
Every gift becomes meaningful when used for God's glory.
π Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gifts You have given each of us. Help us use them faithfully with humility and love. May every act of service strengthen Your Church and bring honor to Your name. Amen.
