Walking in Humility๐ทWomen’s Devotional
Micah 6:8 — “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
๐ Reflection:
In a world that often celebrates self-promotion and personal recognition, God calls His children to a different path—the path of humility. Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself rightly before God. It recognizes that every good gift, every talent, and every opportunity comes from Him.
A humble woman is teachable, gracious, and quick to give God the glory. She does not seek attention for herself but desires that Christ be seen through her life. Humility also enables healthy relationships because it opens the door to forgiveness, patience, and genuine love.
Walking humbly with God means depending on Him daily, acknowledging that without Him we can do nothing. As you surrender your heart to His leading, He shapes you into a woman whose life reflects the beauty of Christ.
๐ช Reflection Questions:
- Are there areas where pride may be influencing my decisions?
- How can I practice humility in my relationships today?
๐ Takeaways / Things to Do:
- Thank God for the gifts He has entrusted to you.
- Look for an opportunity to serve someone quietly without expecting recognition.
๐ Prayer:
Father, teach me to walk humbly with You. Remove every trace of pride from my heart and help me reflect the humility of Christ in my words, attitudes, and actions. Amen.
