Growing in Grace π§π§π§π§
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” — 2 Peter 3:18
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Job 40–42
New Testament: 2 Peter 1–3
π‘ Devotional Thought:
The book of Job concludes with restoration. After Job humbled himself before God, the Lord restored him and demonstrated His faithfulness. Although Job's suffering was real, God's final word was one of redemption and blessing.
Peter ends his letter by urging believers to continue growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Spiritual maturity is a lifelong journey. God desires us to become more like Christ through His Word, prayer, obedience, and daily dependence upon Him.
A growing church never stops pursuing Christ.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Foster continual spiritual growth within the church.
Men & Ladies: Commit to growing deeper in God's Word.
Youth & Children: Learn more about Jesus every day.
π€ Reflection:
Am I intentionally growing in my relationship with Christ?
π Take Away:
Spiritual growth is a daily pursuit.
π Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for continually growing us by Your grace. Help us hunger for Your Word, seek Your presence daily, and become more like You in every area of our lives. Amen.
