Worthy Is the Lamb π§π§π§π§
π Main Verse:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” — Revelation 5:12
π Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day
Old Testament: Psalms 70–73
New Testament: Revelation 8–9
π‘ Devotional Thought: The psalms in today’s reading move from cries for help to renewed confidence in God’s justice and faithfulness. Asaph discovered that true perspective comes when we enter God’s presence and remember His eternal purposes.
Revelation continues to reveal the majesty of Christ. The Lamb who was slain is now exalted and worthy of all worship. Heaven is centered on Jesus, and our lives should be as well.
A Christ-centered church lives to honor the Lamb above all else.
π Application:
Council & Pastoral: Lead the church into Christ-centered worship.
Men & Ladies: Make Jesus the highest priority of your life.
Youth & Children: Worship Jesus with your whole heart.
π€ Reflection: What place does Jesus truly have in my heart?
π Take Away: Jesus alone is worthy of all honor and praise.
π Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are the worthy Lamb who gave Your life for us. We worship You with gratitude and awe. Help us live each day in a way that honors Your name and reflects Your glory. Amen.
