A Faithful Heart in Small Things๐ทWomen’s Devotional
Luke 16:10 — “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…”
๐ Reflection:
We often imagine that God is preparing us for something great in the future, while overlooking the small responsibilities He has already placed in our hands.
But God's Kingdom values faithfulness. Before greater responsibilities are entrusted to us, God often develops our character through ordinary assignments. How we handle little things reveals the condition of our hearts.
Faithfulness may look like keeping your word, managing your resources wisely, caring for your family, arriving prepared, serving without recognition, or doing your work with excellence even when nobody applauds.
The world may overlook these things, but God does not. He sees the heart behind every act of obedience.
Do not wait for a bigger platform before becoming faithful. Be faithful today. The small things are not insignificant when they are done for God.
๐ช Reflection Questions:
- How am I handling the responsibilities God has already entrusted to me?
- What small area of my life needs greater faithfulness?
๐ Takeaways / Things to Do:
- Complete one neglected responsibility today with excellence.
- Be faithful with your time, words, and resources.
- Remember that God sees even what others do not.
๐ Prayer:
Father, teach me to be faithful in the small things. Help me serve with excellence even when no one notices. Shape my character so that I can be trusted with whatever You choose to place in my hands. Amen.
