💡 Devotional Thought:
God reminded Israel that He was not limited to what He had done in the past. He was preparing to do something new. Sometimes we become so focused on past failures, disappointments, or even past successes that we fail to recognize what God is doing today.
Jesus calls His followers to repentance, humility, and wholehearted commitment. Following Him means remaining open to God's present work rather than becoming trapped by yesterday.
God's faithfulness in the past gives us confidence to trust Him with the future.
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Remain sensitive to where God is leading the church next.
Men & Ladies: Do not allow past failures to prevent you from moving forward with God.
Youth & Children: Learn from the past but keep trusting God for what comes next.
🤔 Reflection:
What from my past is preventing me from faithfully moving forward?
💭 Take Away:
God can bring new beginnings out of old seasons.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in every season. Help us learn from the past without becoming trapped by it. Give us courage to embrace what You are doing today and faith to move forward into the future You have prepared. Amen.
