Deuteronomy 31:8 — “And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
๐ Reflection:
There are moments when loneliness can make us feel forgotten. Perhaps people who once stood beside us have moved on. Maybe a relationship changed, a prayer seems unanswered, or we are walking through a season that few people understand.
But God's presence is not dependent on the presence of other people.
Before Israel entered a new season, Moses reminded them that the Lord Himself would go before them. God would not merely meet them at the destination—He would accompany them along the journey.
What a comforting promise.
God is already present in the tomorrow you are worried about. He is already ahead of you in the conversation you are nervous about, the responsibility you are carrying, and the season you have not yet entered.
You are not forgotten.
Even when people do not notice your struggles, God does. Even when others fail to understand your heart, God understands completely. Even when you feel like you are walking alone, you are never outside His presence.
Lift your head today. The God who goes before you is also the God who stays beside you.
