Choose Kindness 🌱

Choose Kindness
🌱 Devotional for Youth

Scripture: Ephesians 4:32
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Devotional Thought:
Kindness may seem simple, but it can have a powerful impact on someone who is struggling silently. A kind message, a listening ear, an encouraging word, or a simple act of help can remind someone that they are not alone. Unfortunately, the world can sometimes reward sarcasm, harshness, and putting others down. As followers of Jesus, we are called to choose a different way. Kindness doesn't mean allowing people to mistreat you; it means choosing compassion and grace while maintaining healthy boundaries. Let people experience something of Christ's love through the way you treat them.

Reflection Questions:

  1. Who might need encouragement from you today?
  2. How can you become more intentional about showing kindness?

Takeaways:

  • Kindness can make a lasting difference.
  • Forgiveness and compassion reflect Christ.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, make my heart more compassionate and kind. Help me notice people who may be hurting or feeling alone. Give me opportunities to encourage others through my words and actions. Teach me to forgive as You have forgiven me and to show grace without compromising wisdom. May Your love be visible through my life. Amen.
