🌱 Devotional for Youth


Scripture: Proverbs 16:9
"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

Devotional Thought:
As a young person, you may already have plans for your future. You may know what course you want to take, what career you dream about, or what kind of life you hope to have. Planning is good, but sometimes our plans don't happen the way we expect. God reminds us that while we can make plans, He is the One who ultimately directs our steps. You don't have to have everything figured out today. Trust God with the parts of your future that you cannot see. He knows where each step will lead, and He can redirect you when your plans don't match His purpose.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What part of your future are you most worried about?
  2. Are you willing to let God redirect your plans?

  • Planning is good, but God's direction is greater.
  • You can trust God with an unknown future.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You because You already know what lies ahead of me. I surrender my plans, dreams, studies, relationships, and future to You. When my plans change, help me trust that You are still guiding my steps. Give me wisdom to recognize Your direction and courage to follow wherever You lead. In Jesus' name, Amen.
