Let Everything Point to Jesus ๐ŸŒท

Let Everything Point to Jesus
๐ŸŒทWomen’s Devotional

๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse:
Colossians 3:17“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

๐Ÿ’– Reflection:
As we come to the end of August, this verse gives us a beautiful way to look at every ordinary part of life.

Whatever you do.

Not only what you do in church.

Not only what you do when people are watching.

Whatever you do.

Your conversations. Your work. Your family responsibilities. Your friendships. Your decisions. Your service. Your private moments. Your response to difficult people. Your use of time.

Everything can point to Jesus.

Living for Christ is not reserved for special moments. It is a daily decision to let Him shape the way we live.

When we begin viewing ordinary responsibilities as opportunities to honor Jesus, even simple things become meaningful. A task that seems insignificant can become worship when done with love and gratitude.

As August comes to a close, perhaps this is the invitation God is giving us: Don't separate your spiritual life from your everyday life. Let all of it belong to Jesus.

May the next month find you not simply doing more, but living more intentionally for Christ.

๐Ÿชž Reflection Questions:

  • Does my everyday life reflect that I belong to Jesus?
  • What ordinary area of my life can I intentionally surrender to Him?

๐Ÿ’ Takeaways / Things to Do:

  • Dedicate your work and responsibilities to Jesus.
  • Before making a decision, ask, “Does this honor Christ?”
  • End August by thanking God for His presence throughout the month.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I give You every part of my life. May my words, choices, work, relationships, and actions point people toward You. Teach me to live intentionally for Your glory, not only in church but in every ordinary moment. Thank You for walking with me through another month. Amen.
