Pressing Toward the Prize

📖 Bible Verse:
Philippians 3:14 — “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

💖 Reflection:
There are days when the Christian journey feels exciting and full of progress. There are other days when we feel like we are barely moving. We become tired, distracted, discouraged, or disappointed with ourselves.

Paul's words remind us that the journey requires intentional perseverance. He was not looking backward at what had already happened; he was pressing forward toward what God had called him to become.

You may have made mistakes in the past. You may have missed opportunities. You may even feel that you should be further along spiritually than you are right now.

But your past does not have to determine your next step.

God is still working in you.

Instead of constantly looking behind you, ask God what faithful step He wants you to take today. Growth happens one decision at a time. One prayer. One act of obedience. One surrendered attitude. One moment of choosing Christ over self.

Keep moving forward.

You don't have to finish the race today. You simply need to keep pressing toward the One who called you.

Lord Jesus, help me keep pressing forward. When I become discouraged by my past or tired from the journey, remind me of the calling You have placed before me. Give me perseverance to keep walking faithfully until I finish the race You have given me. Amen.
