God Is Your Shepherd
๐ŸŒทWomen’s Devotional

๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse:
Psalm 23:1“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”

๐Ÿ’– Reflection:
A shepherd knows his sheep. He watches over them, leads them toward safe places, protects them from danger, and provides what they need. David used this beautiful picture to describe his relationship with God.

When we call the Lord our Shepherd, we acknowledge that we need His guidance. We do not always know where the safest path is. We cannot see every danger ahead. We sometimes wander toward things that look appealing but may harm us.

Yet our Shepherd knows the way.

There may be things you desire today that God has not provided. It can be tempting to interpret that as His absence or lack of care. But Psalm 23 reminds us that God knows what we truly need. Sometimes His provision is giving us something; sometimes it is protecting us from something.

You can rest because your Shepherd is attentive. You can follow because He knows the way. You can trust because He is good.

๐Ÿชž Reflection Questions:

  • Where do I need God's guidance right now?
  • Am I willing to follow His direction even when it differs from my plans?

๐Ÿ’ Takeaways / Things to Do:

  • Read Psalm 23 slowly today.
  • Ask God to guide one specific decision.
  • Thank Him for one way He has provided or protected you.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer:
Lord, You are my Shepherd. Lead me, protect me, provide for me, and keep me close to You. Help me trust Your direction even when I cannot see what lies ahead. Thank You for faithfully caring for me every day. Amen.
