πŸ§‘‍πŸ§‘‍πŸ§’‍πŸ§’ Devotionals for Church Family

πŸ“– Main Verse:
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29

πŸ“š Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day

Old Testament: Isaiah 21–24

New Testament: Luke 7–8

πŸ’‘ Devotional Thought:
There are seasons when God's people feel exhausted, uncertain, or overwhelmed. Isaiah reminds us that our limitations do not limit God. He gives strength to the weary and provides what we lack.

Luke 7–8 presents Jesus responding to people who were suffering, grieving, rejected, and desperate. He healed, restored, forgave, and brought peace. Christ remains compassionate toward those who come to Him in weakness.

We do not have to pretend to be strong all the time. We can bring our weakness to the One whose strength never fails.

πŸ“ Application:

Council & Pastoral: Care for weary servants and create space for spiritual renewal.

Men & Ladies: Bring your exhaustion honestly before God.

Youth & Children: Remember that Jesus helps you when you feel weak or afraid.

πŸ€” Reflection:
Where do I need God's strength today?

πŸ’ Take Away:
God's strength is sufficient when our own strength runs out.

πŸ™ Prayer:
Lord, You know every place where we are tired and weak. Thank You that we do not have to depend on our own strength. Renew our hearts, restore our joy, and give us the strength to continue serving You faithfully. Help us also recognize and encourage those who are weary around us. Amen.
