The Love That Never Lets Go ๐ท
The Love That Never Lets Go๐ทWomen’s Devotional
Hosea 11:4 — “I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them.”
๐ Reflection:
God's love is not distant or mechanical. Scripture often describes His relationship with His people using tender images of care, compassion, and affection.
In Hosea, God describes Himself as a Father who gently leads His children.
What a beautiful picture for the woman who feels exhausted from trying to figure everything out.
You don't have to run ahead of God. You don't have to force every door open. You don't have to carry every responsibility as though everything depends entirely on you.
There is a God who lovingly leads.
His guidance may sometimes feel slow, but His pace is not evidence of His absence. He knows how much you can carry. He knows when you need to rest. He knows when you are ready to move forward.
Let yourself be loved by God today.
Not because you performed well.
Not because you accomplished enough.
Simply because you are His.
When you understand His tender love, obedience becomes less about fear and more about relationship.
๐ช Reflection Questions:
- Do I genuinely see God as a loving Father who cares for me?
- Where am I trying to lead myself instead of allowing God to guide me?
๐ Takeaways / Things to Do:
- Spend a few quiet moments simply receiving God's love.
- Thank Him for the ways He has gently led you.
- Release the pressure to have everything figured out.
๐ Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your tender and patient love. Teach me to rest in Your care and allow You to lead me. When I become anxious about the future, remind me that I am held by a God who knows exactly where He is taking me. Amen.
