๐Ÿ“– Bible Verse:
Colossians 3:13“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

๐Ÿ’– Reflection:
Forgiveness can be one of the most difficult expressions of Christian love, especially when the wound has been deep.

Sometimes we hold onto an offense because we believe that releasing it means saying that what happened was acceptable. But forgiveness does not erase the seriousness of the wrong. It releases our right to continue carrying the offense as a burden.

Paul tells us to forgive as the Lord forgave us. That does not mean pretending the pain never happened. It means choosing not to let the offense control our hearts forever.

Forgiveness can be a process. Some wounds require time, prayer, healthy boundaries, and repeated surrender. But every step toward forgiveness frees our hearts from bitterness.

You cannot change what someone did to you. But with God's help, you can choose what that wound will become in you.

Don't allow someone else's actions to determine the condition of your heart.

Bring the pain to Jesus. Let Him heal what you cannot heal by yourself. And when you are ready, choose the freedom that forgiveness offers.

๐Ÿชž Reflection Questions:

  • Is there someone I am struggling to forgive?
  • Am I allowing an old wound to continue controlling my present?

๐Ÿ’ Takeaways / Things to Do:

  • Pray honestly about the person who hurt you.
  • Ask God to help you release bitterness.
  • Remember that forgiveness and healthy boundaries can coexist.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the forgiveness You have freely given me. Help me release resentment and bitterness, even when forgiveness feels difficult. Heal my wounds and teach me to extend the same grace I have received from You. Amen.
