💡 Devotional Thought:
Isaiah encountered the holiness of God and immediately recognized his own unworthiness. Yet God did not leave him in that condition. After Isaiah confessed his need, God called him to serve.
Luke introduces the birth of John and Jesus, showing how ordinary people responded to God's extraordinary plans. Mary, Joseph, Zechariah, Elizabeth, and others became part of God's redemptive work because they were willing to trust Him.
God does not require perfect people before He uses them. He looks for surrendered hearts that are willing to say, “Here am I.”
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Remain available to God's direction even when ministry becomes difficult.
Men & Ladies: Offer your skills, time, and experience for God's work.
Youth & Children: Be willing to serve wherever God gives you an opportunity.
🤔 Reflection:
If God is calling me to serve in a new way, am I willing to say yes?
💭 Take Away:
A surrendered heart is ready for God's assignment.
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, here we are. Use us for Your purposes. Remove our fears and excuses and give us willing hearts. Whether You call us to lead, encourage, teach, serve, give, or simply be present for someone who needs help, make us ready to obey. Amen.
