God Knows What You Need
🌱 Devotional for Youth

Scripture: Matthew 6:31–32
"Do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' ... your heavenly Father knows that you need them."

Devotional Thought:
Young people can carry many concerns about the future. You may worry about money, school, relationships, family needs, or whether your dreams will come true. Jesus reminds us that our heavenly Father already knows what we need. This doesn't mean we never work hard or make responsible plans. Instead, it means we don't have to live consumed by fear. God knows your needs before you even speak them. Trusting Him allows you to work faithfully without allowing worry to control your heart.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What need are you currently worrying about?
  2. How can you practice trusting God instead of worrying?

Takeaways:

  • God knows your needs.
  • Trust doesn't mean laziness; it means confidence in God's care.
  • You can work hard while still depending on Him.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You because You know every need in my life. When I become worried about the future, remind me that You are already there. Help me work diligently and responsibly while trusting You to provide what I truly need. Give me a peaceful heart that rests in Your care. Amen.
