The Gift of Godly Wisdom
πŸ§‘‍πŸ§‘‍πŸ§’‍πŸ§’ Devotionals for Church Family

πŸ“– Main Verse:
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

πŸ“š Bible in a Year: Reading for the Day

Old Testament: Proverbs 29–31

New Testament: Mark 1–2

πŸ’‘ Devotional Thought:
The final chapters of Proverbs remind us that wisdom is seen in the way we live—through discipline, diligence, integrity, compassion, and reverence for God. A wise life is not measured only by what we know but by how faithfully we apply God's truth.

Mark introduces Jesus as the One who teaches with authority, calls disciples, heals the sick, forgives sins, and brings people into the Kingdom of God. The disciples responded by leaving what they knew and following Him. Following Jesus requires more than admiration; it requires surrender.

God gives us each day as an opportunity to live wisely and follow Christ faithfully.

πŸ“ Application:

Council & Pastoral: Lead with wisdom, humility, and obedience to Christ.

Men & Ladies: Use your time, resources, and influence wisely for God's glory.

Youth & Children: Learn to make choices that honor Jesus.

πŸ€” Reflection:
Am I using the days God gives me wisely?

πŸ’ Take Away:
A wise life is a life intentionally surrendered to God.

πŸ™ Prayer:
Father, thank You for every day You give us. Teach us to use our time wisely and to live with purpose. Give us wisdom in our decisions and help us follow Jesus wholeheartedly. May our lives be useful for Your Kingdom and bring glory to Your name. Amen.
