Proverbs teaches that wisdom begins when we recognize God's authority and willingly submit to His instruction. Reverence for God is not simply being afraid of Him; it is honoring Him, trusting His Word, and allowing Him to direct our lives.
Jesus teaches in Matthew 18–19 about humility, forgiveness, relationships, marriage, children, and the danger of allowing worldly values to control our hearts. These teachings remind us that God's wisdom must shape not only our personal lives but also how we treat one another.
A wise church becomes a place where God's truth guides relationships and decisions.
