🌱 Devotional for Youth


Scripture: Matthew 5:16
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Devotional Thought:
You don't need to be famous or have thousands of followers to make an impact. Jesus calls you to let your light shine wherever you are. Your classmates, friends, family members, neighbors, and even people you meet online can see something different when your life reflects Christ. Your kindness, honesty, patience, forgiveness, and willingness to help can point people toward God. Your goal isn't to make people admire you; it is to help them see the goodness of your heavenly Father through your life.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What kind of example are you showing to people around you?
  2. How can you let your light shine this week?

  • Your everyday actions can point people to Jesus.
  • Shine for God's glory, not your own recognition.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me shine brightly for You wherever I go. May my words and actions reflect Your love, kindness, and truth. Keep me from seeking attention for myself, and instead help me live in a way that causes others to see Your goodness. Use my life as a light in places that need hope. Amen.
