The Songs of Ascents in today's Psalms remind God's people that every journey is safest when the Lord watches over them. He is our Keeper, our Protector, and our constant help.
Matthew records many miracles of Jesus, each revealing His deep compassion for people. Christ did not merely see the crowds—He saw their pain, confusion, and spiritual need. His compassion moved Him to action. As His followers, we are called to care deeply for others, offering both practical help and the hope of the Gospel.
A compassionate church reflects the heart of Christ.
