Old Testament: Isaiah 17–20

💡 Devotional Thought:
Isaiah teaches that peace comes from a steadfast heart that trusts God. Trust does not mean that we will never experience problems. It means that our confidence in God is greater than our fear of circumstances.

In Luke 5–6, Jesus calls ordinary people to follow Him. Peter left his nets, Levi left his tax booth, and others accepted Jesus' invitation to become His disciples.

Trust often requires us to leave our comfort zone. When Christ calls, faith responds with obedience.

📝 Application:

Council & Pastoral: Trust God's direction even when the next step is uncertain.

Men & Ladies: Surrender your plans and allow God to direct your family.

Youth & Children: Trust Jesus when making choices about school, friends, and your future.

🤔 Reflection:
What am I holding onto because I am afraid to trust God?

💭 Take Away:
Trusting God brings peace even when the future is uncertain.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, make our minds steadfast in You. Teach us to trust You when we cannot see what lies ahead. Give us courage to obey when You call us beyond our comfort zones. May our faith become stronger as we experience Your faithfulness. Amen.
