💡 Devotional Thought:
God's desire has always been for His people to return to Him with sincere hearts. Isaiah warned God's people about the consequences of turning away, yet God's message was never without hope. His discipline was intended to bring His people back to righteousness.
Mark records the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. At the cross, we see the seriousness of sin and the immeasurable depth of God's love. At the empty tomb, we see victory, hope, and new life.
Returning to God is never a step backward. It is a step toward the One who restores and gives new life.
📝 Application:
Council & Pastoral: Help people return to God through truth, grace, and loving guidance.
Men & Ladies: Examine your heart and surrender areas that have drifted from God.
Youth & Children: Remember that you can always come to Jesus and ask Him to help you.

Is there any area of my life where God is calling me to return to Him?

God welcomes the heart that sincerely turns back to Him.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, whenever our hearts wander, draw us back to You. Thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus and the hope of His resurrection. Heal the places in our lives that have been wounded by sin and restore our fellowship with You. Give us humble hearts that are always willing to repent, return, and follow You again. Amen.
